(2013-2016) In the pursuit to live in the Big Apple, I landed a job at Tory Sport, Tory Burch’s Active brand. I was the fourth employee alongside VP of Product/Design, VP of Product/Design assistant, and VP of Marketing. Hitting the ground running, I helped with building out techpack template on excel to provide factories with all materials needed to build the style, ie. BOM, technical callouts, and measure charts. I worked to help grow younger employees in fabrication, trims, color, and fit. As you can imagine there were a lot of long weeks/weekends working to make sure the launch was a success. We worked with Tory throughout the whole process to make sure we had her stamp of approval for launch. There were many highs and lows that came to launch the brand but it finally launched in Fall 2015. While Tory Sport was growing its legs, Tory borrowed samples to help with styling for Fashion Week seasonal shows. During the run-throughs, the models wore the Tory Sport track suit.
